Japanese retailer Uniqlo has signed a leasing contract in the shopping park Otrada in Mitino. The new store is 1000 sq. m. and will be presenting Uniqlo clothing lines for men and women. The deal was advised by Cushman & Wakefield, the consultant of the project. Uniqlo in Mitino will be the third store of the network in Russia and is planned to be opened in September 2013.
Shopping park Otrada is situated in northwest Moscow on Pyatnickoe Highway near a metro station in Mitino District. The shopping part of Otrada will be opened in several phases. Two of them have already been launched (with GLA of 60,874 sq. m.) with hypermarket O’key and big fashion brands such as H&M, Inditex Group brands (Zara, Zara Home, Berska, Oysho, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear), LLP Group brands (Reserved, House Cropp Town, Mohito), Levis, Puma, Aldo, DetMart, Snow Queen - one of the first Takko Fashion shop in Russia, also Intersport, Adidas, Reebok, Rockport, Salomon, L’Etoile, Lee Cooper, Timberland, Ostin, Zolla, Mango, Quicksilver, Francesco Marconi, Centro, Ecco, Payless, Chester, cafe Bulka, restaurants Yuki (Japanese kitchen), Goodbeef, and also a food- court with McDonalds, KFC, Kroshka- Kartoshka, Teremok, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, café Shokoladnitsa and Starbucks.
Russian Industrial Company Elt which is developing the project plans to open the third phase of the shopping park with hypermarket OBI (14,500 sq. m.) followed by fourth, fifth and sixth phases afterwards. The last phases will have several floors and will also include a three level parking for 4,300 parking spots. On two floors, there will be an electronic hypermarket, housing goods, big fashion shops, restaurants, an entertainment zone, multiplex cinema, fitness, restaurant with a terrace, and unique thematic aqua park. After the opening of all the phases, the GBA of the project will be 220,000 sq. m.
