Sky Mall  is a new generation of retail and leisure development in New Moscow, that will be built on Kievskoe Shosse  and will be key part of the social infrastructure of this district. Sky Mall will be the only project in the area that provides not only a full shopping experience, from fashion outlet to traditional mall, but also indoor and outdoor facilities for active sports and leisure for the whole family. Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive consultant of the project. The project is presented at MAPIC.

Sky Mall will include a two level shopping mall of 130,000 sq.m. GLA (with cinema multiplex and themed educational centre for children), Designer Outlet Village of 30,000 sq.m. GLA, Big Box DIY of 15,000 sq.m. and a sport centre of 20,000 sq.m, set on a landscaped site with more than four hectares of recreation and outdoor leisure facilities. The project is developed by Hines. Architect is Benoy. The project will be open in Q4 2017.

Sky Mall has a strategic location in New Moscow next to Vnukovo airport on the Kievskoye highway – the main artery that unites ‘old’ Moscow with its expanded territories. It is situated in the middle of a large new residential agglomeration with a rapidly growing population and many active developments attracting aspirational residents into the district. More than 2,300,000 people already live in the catchment area of the project.

Maxim Karbasnikoff, Partner, Head of Retail Services comments: “The new generation shopping center is more than a box with shops inside. It is a new space with different functions that offer unique shopping center experience. The clean architecture of Sky Mall will be incorporated into the natural environment to create a special atmosphere with fresh air, open spaces and nature”.
